Japanese art has always fascinated me, especially for cleaning and ease with which they were represented samurai and dragons: a few good features but that defined the character.
After this unnecessary introduction, here's my last work, requested by my brother in law: a "door swords." The structure is completed on a deal table with a thickness of 15 mm. Size 145 cm x 50 cm . The design was done with pyrography, pen or fire (a big job!) And the dragon was stained first with the mordant side by side with the gold leaf, and then "passed back" with the paint overglaze in to enhance it once under the light. The supports are made of Polymethyl (better known as " Plexiglass " ) and are all sunken ' internal table. symbol that sees on the right is the Japanese word to define " Katana" ... at least so they say!
