X-notifier is an additional component to be installed in your browser Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox , which, as the title implies, automatically alerts you as new mail clients as the most famous Hotmail , Gmail, Yahoo, AOL and other . X-notifier is very convenient, especially because you can enter multiple email accounts and receive notifications automatically. 
To download the version compatible with the Chrome browser click here and install it. Soon after you will notice the addition of the icon in the address bar X-notifier, as in this picture.
When you first use the icon will be gray and will need to configure it, then click on it and after on "Options". the page that opens, where it says "Gmail" open the drop down menu and select your mail account.
In this example, I decided to use my Gmail account and I entered my email address in the field "Username" my key on "Password" , and my name on "Alias." After entering your data click on "Add" (add) and you should have a picture similar to this one.
