Before you start driving I will explain in a nutshell is a ribbon but mostly what it did. A ribbon is a small tool often used in blogs to advertise a site or something else, or to write a welcome message as I did with Little Geek . On the web there are many sites that help in a few steps to create the ribbon and one of them is called: Quick ribbon.com .
The step (steps) to follow are simple and intuitive and does not require any registration.
First step: Enter the text you want to appear in your ribbon, choose the font, size and color.
Second step: choose between four types of ribbons available from the site and if you want you can customize it by changing the color.
Third step: changed, in case you'd like the default, the background color.
fourth and final step: here, the box "Ribbon hyperlink" can enter a different link from your blog and decide if, when clicked on it, open the site on the same page or on a new tab. This option is used if you have to advertise another site. Finally click on " Generate ribbon!" and then grab the code to insert on your blog.

To insert code on blogger: open your dashboard, click "Design", on "Add a gadget " then " HTML / JavaScript" paste the code and finally saved.
